about us.

Hayslip Memorials has been a forerunner in the memorialization industry in the area since 1937. Through the years Hayslip focused on designing memorials built of high-quality granite and superior craftsmanship. The founder of Hayslip Memorials, Cecil “Red” Hayslip, passed away in 1956, leaving a legacy that has never wavered from selling quality granites with superb craftsmanship by caring memorialists. As a Rock of Ages dealer, the legacy of high-quality memorials continues today.

Hayslip Memorials proudly serves families in the tri-state area of Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania as our location is within minutes of all three states. We also sell specialty designed memorials to families out of the area who have entrusted their loved one’s memorial to us.

The staff at Hayslip Memorials strives to design one of kind memorials that truly capture the spirit of a life well lived.

What does Hayslip Memorials do?

At Hayslip Memorials, our main service is to design and build artistic and long-lasting private memorials for the families of those who have passed. While private memorials are our focus, we are also happy to work with committees to help design and create public memorials representing one or more people, places, or special events.

Why would I buy a memorial in advance?

Pre-planning gives you the option of purchasing and placing your memorial in advance. Over 30% of our clients choose to pre-plan their memorials, allowing them to pick the monument design and style, as well as the location of their final resting place. There are many reasons to pre-plan a memorial, but the best is perhaps that it allows a family to make decisions together without the added stress of a loved one’s death. By pre-planning, a family can take their time in making the decisions and ensure everything is just right.

How much does a monument cost?

The cost of your memorial will vary, based on several things including quality of material, the color you select, the size and shape and several other items. What is important to understand is that we will work within your budget to help you design and build a quality memorial for your loved one.
